Many email readers such as Microsoft Outlook Express do not view emails in the HTML format by default.
How you know when this is happening? The easiest way is to use common sense. If the format of the email just doesn’t make sense, you probably need to view it as HTML, or, if the text “you must view this message as HTML” appears, you should also follow the instructions in this video
